Liberty Education Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in a full-time role within a school-based Public school.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in working with children.
*Position: School-Based Personal Care Assistant (PCA)*
*Monday-Friday (school hours) 8:00-4:00pm*
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide one-on-one support to students within the school environment.
* Assist students with varying needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in educational activities.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to implement individualized plans.
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students to thrive academically and socially.
* Maintain clear communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
* Adhere to all school policies and guidelines, especially those related to health and safety.
*Requirements:*
* High School Diploma Minimum - Associates Preferred
* Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational or caregiving capacity.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish a rapport with students.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Flexibility and adaptability to address changing student needs.
