Location/Hours
Leaves from the Hyde Center
This position works split shifts Monday-Friday working roughly 6-7 hours per day
6:30 am to 8:00 am
11:10 am to 12:00 pm
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Transportation timeframe (This time may fluctuate at times):
This position works approximately 175-180 days a year (primarily during the school year).
Responsibilities
Work with children aged 3 to 5
Assist children in boarding and exiting the bus safely
Ensure children are properly buckled in their seat belts
Follow assigned bus route and schedule for pick-up and drop-off
Collaborate with the bus driver to maintain a safe and orderly environment
Communicate with parents as needed regarding transportation arrangements
Completes and submits paperwork within the required timeframes

High School diploma or G.
E.
D.
Experience working with young children
Documented good physical health
Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate

Physical Requirements
Reach overhead.
Lift and carry objects over fifty (50) pounds.
Stand for extended periods of time with reasonable breaks.
Walk and stand for periods of over one hour.
Climb stairs.
Stoop to move objects.
Bend to reach objects from the floor.
Use sweeper and other cleaning apparatus (push and pull).
Operate a motor vehicle.
Climb ladders and steps.
Operate power equipment according to guidelines.
