Purpose of this Job:
The purpose of this job is to maintain a clean environment in the warehouse areas.
Additionally, may be responsible to assist in heavy cleaning, small maintenance tasks, and removal of snow or debris.
Essential Functions of the Job:
1.
Must be able to operate and control a powered pallet jack.
2.
Perform maintenance on the outside of the building and grounds when necessary.
3.
Gather and empty all trash in and around warehouse area.
4.
Clean warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing as necessary.
5.
Follow the proper procedures for the usage of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
6.
Run the floor scrubber/buffer in the warehouse as needed to maintain the floors.
7.
Requisition supplies for cleaning and minor maintenance as necessary.
8.
Clean windows, glass partitions, walls, mirrors using the appropriate supplies.
9.
Perform snow removal when necessary.
10.
Perform, record and maintain all GFSI daily, weekly, monthly assignments with appropriate documentation.

Equipment used in the Job:
Floor scrubber, floor waxer, extension ladder, hand tools, snow removal equipment, vacuum, chemicals/cleaning products, powered pallet jack and fork lift.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum of a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
Number of years Experience:
Minimum 6 months experience.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide as well as percentages.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, directions.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to talk to others (internal customers/coworkers) to convey information effectively and professionally.
Typical Physical and Mental demands of the Job:
Concentration, attentiveness, independent judgment and discretion, manage multiple tasks, read and comprehend instructions and work orders.
Must be able to see, hear, bend, stoop and reach, and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds manually.
Work Environment:
Exposed to all degrees of temperature.
Exposed to outside elements.
Average warehouse temperature fluctuates with the temperature of the outside environment.
Office temperature is environmentally controlled.
Other Considerations:
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
