```Responsibilities``` - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - Assist children in developing coping skills and managing their emotions - Conduct psychotherapy sessions to address various mental health concerns - Offer specialized counseling for individuals experiencing gender issues or chronic pain - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans - Monitor and document patient progress and behavior - Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary - Coordinate with case managers to ensure continuity of care - Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - Knowledge of special education principles and techniques - Proficiency in conducting psychotherapy sessions - Familiarity with PTSD care and treatment approaches - Strong case management skills - Ability to provide counseling for gender issues and chronic pain - Knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
