DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy (OT) for assigned individuals by selecting specified remedial tasks and activities and following through with specific treatment techniques in order to meet the person's needs in medical and/or developmental and/or functional areas.
In this role, you prepare objectives and treatment strategies to meet individual goals by reviewing evaluations; participating in annual and interim interdisciplinary reviews; and evaluating daily program data against expected outcome in an effort to help each individual develop to his or her fullest potential.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
May change based on operational needs.
Overtime and travel as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement: You must be in possession of a license to assist in the practice of occupational therapy, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure, or possession of a temporary license.
Condition of Employment: Persons possessing a temporary license will be accepted pending full licensure which must occur within one year after employment.
Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
