Luxor Gardens is seeking out a strong and organized Property Manager with prior HUD/Section 8 housing experience.
*Role Description*
* Lead and control all facets of the community to ensure quality services and a high degree of customer satisfaction by standards and policies, while working within budgetary guidelines
* Recruit, hire and train and provide performance feedback to employees to ensure community performance and adequate staffing.
Hold daily meetings with all staff to ensure that goals and milestones are communicated and that management support is being provided.
* Ensure property performance is maximized—including walks of the grounds & made-ready apartments to ensure the community is presentable at all times; resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping, etc.
* Share in leasing responsibilities to ensure prospects are given highest priority; Tour visitors and guests to show amenities, apartments, models, community, etc.
* Accomplish financial objectives by collecting rents, coding Purchase Orders and Invoices, communicating regularly with vendors, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action, etc.

* Experience in HUD/Section 8/Affordable housing
* Ability to utilize social media marketing
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of leasing and rent collection practices
* Strong problem-solving skills
