Work Days and Expected Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department)
Function: Perform various clerical duties in support of the Loan Records department.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization
Performs the following functions within the specified unit:
Paid Loans:
Review paid loan reports and pull physical loan folders for processing
Release of collateral held on loans: vehicle titles, assignment of life insurance, brokerage or stock, and termination of UCC filings
Preparation of partial real estate releases and mortgage/assignment of rent satisfaction pieces for satisfaction of liens at the courthouses
Update collateral tracking items in tickler systems
Calculation of prepayment penalties and loan payoff quotes/letters
Issuance of letters of guarantee of vehicle title
Produce and mail paid loan letters to borrowers
Document importing, filing, tracking, retrieval, and research of loan documentation
Quality control of images, retention of required original documents and destruction of remaining physical documents.
Researches and resolves questions for internal and external customers
Assumes additional duties as required
Physical Demands
Operates a keypad device or office equipment: 90% of the day.
The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumb, hands, and wrists.
Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing, filing, and data entry up to 90% of the business day.
Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work.
The job requires reaching above the shoulders, occasionally, which is slow in speed.
Bending and twisting is required, occasionally, which is slow in speed.
Climbing a ladder is required occasionally.
Standing is required 10% of the day which includes bending.
Sitting is required 90% of the day in a straight position.
Walking is required 5% of the day which is slow is speed.
Routinely lifts 10 lbs.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
