THE POSITION
This is a wonderful opportunity to assist in the management of our eleven housing communities.
You will work directly with our residents assisting them with their housing needs.
This is rewarding and productive work.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is an administrative position assisting in the management of a public housing community.
Work includes collecting and reporting rents, security deposits, and any other money due to the housing authority.
The person in this position will also maintain records, review delinquent accounts and report delinquencies according to established policies.
Preparing and maintaining all records at the property level including resident accounts, property control, resident turnover, condition of units, and resident organizations will be required.
Completion of annual reexamination of resident's income and family composition is required.
Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies; or Two years of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment; or One (1) year as a Management Aide; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.

Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Cambria County.
