*Summary:* Support the company operations by interacting with targeted virtual communities and network users to promote our agency and provide customer care services to new audiences.
To create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms as well as act quickly and gracefully to resolve any customer complaints or criticisms posted on social media.
To assist with overall marketing efforts.
To be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to service promotion.
The goal is to deliver effective marketing/social media programs that will help our reputation and growth.
Assist with and manage fundraising efforts to support the agencies.
*Essential Functions:* ● Brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
● Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities.
● Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns as assigned by the supervisor.
● Assist in collaborating with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
● Assist with the planning and executing initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV, etc.
).
● Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
● Assist with building and executing social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
● Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling.
● Write, develop, and strategize online and printed material.
● Oversee crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications and report back to management.
● Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles.
● Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies.
● Create and implement a social media marketing plan and editorial calendar.
● Tracking and analyzing report(s) to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
● Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions and increase reach.
● Market the fundraising activities of the agencies in conjunction with the agency committee.
● Organize and track volunteers for events and volunteer activities.
● Heads and manages the fundraising committee ● Initiate and request help as needed.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* ● High level of interpersonal skills.
● Able to work with minimum supervision.
● Should be customer service driven ● Accuracy and thoroughness in monitoring one's own work (oral, written, numerical) to ensure quality.
● Active promotion of safety and security procedures, and proper use of equipment and materials.
● Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to private vehicles for day - to - day job performance due to requirement for some travel to our satellite offices.
● Must be well organized and detail oriented.
● Exceptional communication abilities (written and oral).
● Other related duties as assigned.
*Education:* ● High School Diploma or GED Required.
● Associate or Bachelor’s degree (B.
A.
) in marketing, communication, event planning or related field (preferred).
*Experience:* ● 1+ years experience in digital marketing and social media.
● 1+ years with business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, etc).
● Understanding of social media metrics: able to interpret the results and act to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
● Understanding how to market fundraising activities and events *Requirements:* ● Must have a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle.
● Must pass driver license checks.
● Must pass all Federal and State background checks and clearances.
