We provide analytical and technical guidance to colleges and universities, business and trade schools, flight training, barbering and beauty schools, and career and technology centers to ensure that veterans and their eligible dependents can utilize their GI Bill® benefits while pursuing their education.
In this position, you will approve or disapprove training programs and apprenticeships, on-the-job training (OJT) programs, and licensure and certification programs.
Other key duties of this position are to conduct risk based surveys and initiate contact when discrepancies are found.
You will also conduct outreach at events and job fairs to promote the mission of the division.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
This position is home headquartered and does not report to an in-office location on a regular basis.
In order to work at home, you must have a securely configured high speed internet connection.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
Any new hire to the Commonwealth will start at the beginning of the pay range.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Five years of professional experience in education, vocational education, or educational administration or closely related experience involving planning or conducting training or educational programs in industry, government or schools, and a bachelor's degree; or Four years of professional experience in education, vocational education, or educational administration or closely related experience involving planning or conducting training or educational programs in industry, government or schools, and a master’s degree.
Other Requirements: Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Montgomery and Delaware counties.
