Job Description
OVERVIEW
Support the Regional Director of Real Estate in all aspects of market(s) strategy formation, growth and execution as well as perform daily oversite of real estate and entitlement functions to meet the growth goals of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1.
Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities for their direct reports.
2.
Responsible for all Real Estate Site Selection activities in assigned Markets.
3.
Directly supervise and lead the entitlement and permitting function in assigned Markets.
4.
Directly responsible for managing 3rd party real estate and entitlement functions in accordance with their contractual responsibilities.
5.
Manage the execution of the departmental growth plan in the assigned market(s).
6.
Responsible for overseeing the development of third party partners to review and facilitate market timelines and goals.
Collaborate with external and internal departments to ensure store development timelines are obtained.
7.
Assist the Regional Director to ensure market projects are completed to schedule and within budget.
8.
Collaborate with Engineering, Site Design and Construction personnel to solve individual issues that support our corporate growth goals in the markets.
9.
Maintain and update all project tracking in the new markets to keep Regional Director and Senior Management apprised of markets progress.
10.
Assist the Regional Director in developing individual markets strategy and execution plans.
11.
Provide direction to Real Estate Legal team on market priorities, review legal documents and make sure business terms are acceptable on each specific project.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field required
Experience
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in commercial real estate, retail development required.
• Minimum 7 years’ of real estate contract negotiation required.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience required
• Minimum 2 years’ real estate third party relations management preferred.
