*Job Description:*
* Manage technical groups within IT Works client sites, while ensuring business standards and service levels are met.
* Drive the vision, strategy, planning, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of applications across clients that incorporate the site's mission and vision
* Drive the completion of annual financial planning, and technology and security infrastructure assessments for the client
* Develop and enhance relationships with key client executives
* Contribute to and support the development of process improvements and evolution of the overall Cerner technology vision and strategy
* Manage the delivery of services and technology to clients and ensure that the client and business standards are achieved
* Contribute to the development of the overall solution roadmap
* Provide oversight of the implementation of operating procedures and direct the study, design and implementation of new systems and equipment
* Ensure infrastructure architecture meets standards, maximizes efficiency, and supports platform compatibility
* Identify and ensure mitigation of cross-functional impacts and areas of potential risk management
* Direct ownership and accountability in delivering organizational objectives that cascade from corporate and client imperatives
* Lead, direct and review the teams work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team, department and organization
* Establish and communicate team or department goals that support and advance team, department and organization objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress
* Influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices and procedures within broader area of responsibility
* Identify, propose and lead team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; lead or influence strategic initiatives at the department-level and provide input on strategic initiatives for the organization
* Deliver consistent and timely training, guidance and feedback to encourage success and promote associate growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities
* Own decision-making for staffing and performance decisions for direct reports
*Skills:*
* Experience across *local area networks, wide area networks*, or wireless networks
* Experience with *routing/switching* and network peripheral equipment including *firewalls, load-balancers* preferred.
* Knowledge of network infrastructure including *firewalls/ VPN, IPsec, Checkpoint, Infoblox, ISE*
