Main Office: 800 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA 15701 Work Days and Expected Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department).
Function: The Chief Data & Analytics Officer assumes responsibility for oversight of the bank’s data and analytics organization and executes the bank’s data and analytics roadmap.
Manages the data and analytics leadership team to ensure that they meet the data and analytical needs of the organization while increasingly providing value-added analytics to either grow revenue, improve efficiency, and/or better manage risk.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provides visionary leadership through the utilization of business insight to in the development of the bank’s ready now and future strategic plan related to a comprehensive and complex enterprise-wide, yet line of business focused approach to data governance, customer focused design and successful implementation process for bank-wide utilization.
Leads a cohesive, high performing analyst leadership team that effectively meets the data and analytics needs of the organization.
Continually coaches team members to develop their technical, analytical, and consultative skills in support of their ongoing career development.
Attracts and retains analytical talent.
Leverages complex technology, systems, and experience to strategically design a data and analytics process that effectively manages the bank’s data resources, reporting, and analytics that is flexible and scalable to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company.
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the data and analytics organization, which includes strategically managing the prioritization of the bank’s data and analytics needs, efficiently and effectively utilizing data and analytics resources, and managing expectations.
Proactively identifies and recommends the application of relevant advanced analytical techniques to create value-added insights.
Monitors industry trends and best practices in data and analytics to identify and recommend new ways to apply analytics to grow revenue, improve efficiency, and/or better manage risk.
Strategically manages the use of analytical tools and data platforms, including oversight of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence, Tableau, and the householding infrastructure.
Executes the data and analytics roadmap.
Partners with the lines of business to foresee future data and analytics needs and proactively recommend and implement technological solutions to advance the bank’s data & analytics program.
Oversees efforts to improve and sustain data quality throughout the organization.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the inherent risk of managing data assets and ensures compliance of appropriate bank policies and regulatory requirements while delivering business results.
Maintains a good working relationship with Bank employees.
Demonstrates a strong ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Physical Demands Operates a keypad device: 95% of the day.
Operates electronic/office equipment: 5% of the day.
Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing up to 40% of the business day.
Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”- 20” for computer work.
