*Summary of Position*
The Inventory Manager coordinates and performs activities within a manufacturing facility concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in storeroom,
*Duties and Responsibilities*
1.
Delivers, receives, and stocks customer’s products
2.
Proactively monitors customers’ open orders in the inventory management and ERP software to assure prompt delivery and customer satisfaction.
3.
Establishes order policies for consignment and non-consignment inventory to assure adequate stock levels and aligned with company goals Maintains a high accuracy of stores and shop floor piece counts
4.
Performs cycle counts to assure inventory accuracy
5.
Prepares, completes, and distributes reports as required.
6.
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Requires attention to detail, accuracy, organization skills and ability to handle multiple situations at one time.
7.
Regional travel to multiple customer sites is required including a reliable form of transportation and a clean driving record.
Paid auto allowance and applicable reimbursement for company-related travel activities is offered in addition to the posted pay rate and benefits.
*Education*
High school diploma or GED required.
Training from a trade school is preferred.
*Experience*
A minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing company is desired.
Experience with computer software programs including ERP systems, inventory management, and Microsoft products is preferred.
*Work Description*
The inventory manager takes instruction from supervision and works safely and efficiently.
They are subject to a general machine shop environment (including dust, oils, metal chips, etc.
) Job requires occasional heavy lifting.
They are responsible to communicate well with supervision reporting problems and providing feedback on operation status.
The Inventory Manager follows shop procedures and maintains order and cleanliness of all work areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $21.
