EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS), you will supervise a construction inspection team within Engineering District 10.
Your role will encompass a range of technical responsibilities associated with the inspection of transportation construction and bridge projects.
This will include supervising the inspection of materials, checking elevation grades and structure stakeouts, making calculations and sketches, and assisting in resolving field problems.
In performing these duties, you will ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with approved construction codes, plans, standards, and specifications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Vendor Controlled scheduleTelework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, ADHOC.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
